Located in Frankston VIC 3199, Roccella Frankston is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to become part of their kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Preparing ingredients and ensuring all food is handled, stored and prepared safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, meat, seafood and other menu items.
- Planning and coordinating food preparation to ensure efficient kitchen service during busy periods.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
- Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies and minimising food waste.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain consistency, quality and efficient service.




- Assisting with menu preparation and contributing to the maintenance of Roccella’s culinary standards.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety, workplace health and safety requirements.

About you

- At least one year of relevant experience working as a Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Experience working with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent food quality.
- Positive organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a kitchen team.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
