We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at the Mahogany Inn and Distillery. This full-time role will see you as a senior chef within the team, delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Working with other chefs to ensure consistency across all plate’s, food preparation, and quality control
- Developing and implementing creative specials from time to time
- Coaching and managing younger members of the team to the highest standards of food quality and service
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment.
- Experienced in grill and pan section
- Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
- Must be a team player
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality or culinary arts
- Must have the right to work in Australia, and ready to start inside a month.
