Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Location: Cowichan Valley or Victoria, BC

TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for a Municipal Engineer / Project Manager to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in a rapidly growing region of British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead municipal infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, water/wastewater systems, bridges, and parks.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, cost estimates, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- P.Eng.

or P.L.Eng. designation in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.




- 5+ years of municipal engineering and project management experience.
- Robust leadership, client management, and business development skills.
- Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Experience working with municipalities, developers, and contractors is considered an asset.
