An opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Manager to join a growing engineering consultancy in Adelaide. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, project delivery, team management and client development.

You will play a key role in growing the civil engineering capability, delivering quality outcomes for clients and helping shape the future direction of the business.

The Role

- Lead and manage the civil engineering team across a diverse range of projects.

- Oversee civil design and project delivery from concept through to completion.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.

- Manage project budgets, resources, programmes and quality.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the South Australian market.

- Prepare proposals, fee submissions and tenders.

- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes.

- Assist with recruitment, team development and building the civil capability within Adelaide.

About You





- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.

- Significant experience within an engineering consultancy.

- Strong experience across civil design and project delivery.

- Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry requirements.

- Established relationships across the Adelaide engineering, property or infrastructure market.

- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client management and business development.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- RPEQ/CPENG or equivalent professional accreditation will be highly regarded.
