Blend Projects is a Geebung based civil construction company delivering end-to-end subdivisions, basements and demolition works across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Blend own an extensive fleet of machinery from 2 tonne - 50 tonne excavators, dozers, skid steers, graders, loaders, rollers, crushing and screening, articulated dump trucks, water trucks and road trucks.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations across a range of civil construction projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing site crews, subcontractors, plant, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to specification. Working closely with Blend's Project Manager, Construction Manager, clients, and stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving project success while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination

- Supervise civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, plant, and materials.
- Develop and implement construction programs in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Plan and manage daily site activities to meet project programs and milestones.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.

Safety Leadership & Compliance

- Lead daily pre-start meetings,



toolbox talks, and site inductions.
- Complete hazard reports, risk assessments, task observations and site inspections as required.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture and proactively manage site risks.
- Monitor plant and equipment to ensure safe operation and maintenance compliance.

Quality & Project Delivery

- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and site activities to maintain quality standards.
- Manage subcontractor and internal quality assurance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project inspection/test plans (ITP) and collate all relevant documentation.
- Conduct inspections and address defects or non-conformances as required.
- Support the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, inspections, delivery dockets, and incident reports.
- Provide regular progress updates and communicate site requirements, risks, and opportunities.

Team Leadership

- Lead by example and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Mentor and support site personnel.




- Manage workforce performance and promote accountability across project teams.

Candidate Skills and Experience

- Accreditation in excavator, dozer, skid steer (grader highly regarded).
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil construction.
- Current drivers licence (heavy vehicle licence highly regarded).
- Experience with GPS machine control and rover.
- Experience with universal total station equipment (highly regarded).
- Open to working locally in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and sequencing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve positive outcomes through critical thinking.
- Proven experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multiple work fronts.
- Sound understanding of WHS, environmental, and quality management requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes.
- Reliable and team oriented.
- Physically fit and capable of performing site-based duties.
