Civil Project Supervisor – Subdivisions & Road Construction

Ostojic Group is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with a strong background in land subdivision and civil infrastructure projects to join our growing operations team.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee subdivision construction works from commencement through to practical completion, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities on subdivision and civil infrastructure projects.

- Coordinate company employees, plant operators, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

- Oversee bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewer, water, electrical and communications infrastructure installation.

- Monitor project programs and assist in achieving project milestones and deadlines.

- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance activities.

- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and company requirements.

- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Assist with resource planning, plant allocation and material requirements.

- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, Clients and Authorities.

- Maintain accurate site diaries,



records and reporting.

About You

Essential Requirements

- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor within subdivision and civil construction projects.

- Demonstrated experience delivering subdivision developments from commencement through to completion.

- Solid knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage and underground services installation.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.

- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and civil construction practices.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Current Driver's Licence and White Card.

Highly Regarded

- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent.

- Experience with NT civil infrastructure and subdivision projects.

- First Aid Certificate.

- Competency operating civil construction plant and equipment.
