About The Client: Our client is a leading provider of waste management and resource recovery services across Australia, delivering essential waste collection, treatment and disposal solutions to a wide range of commercial, industrial and healthcare facilities. They are currently seeking an experienced Medical Waste Driver to join the team based in Bibra Lake, servicing healthcare facilities and collection points across the Perth metropolitan area. About The Position: As a Medical Waste Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of medical waste bins from healthcare facilities and designated collection points.

This is a hands-on role that involves significantly more than driving from point A to point B. You will be required to regularly load and unload medical waste bins, undertake manual handling and heavy lifting, interact professionally with customers, and ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with established procedures.

The position operates Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday morning work available. Start times will generally be between 4:00am and 6:00am, with typical shifts averaging approximately 10 hours. Overtime and allowances are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate the assigned vehicle to deliver and collect medical waste bins from healthcare facilities and collection points
- Load, unload and safely secure medical waste bins on the vehicle
- Undertake regular manual handling,



including lifting and moving heavy waste bins
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Complete all work in accordance with workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with healthcare facility staff and customers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors and other team members regarding deliveries, delays or operational issues
- Ensure waste bins and equipment are handled safely to minimise the risk of spills, damage or incidents
- Complete required documentation and report any issues or hazards as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure the vehicle is operated responsibly at all times

Skills And Experience:

- Current MR or HR Driver's Licence
- Ability to safely operate manual trucks
- Previous delivery driving, waste management or similar experience is highly regarded
- Physically capable of regular heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and prolonged periods of standing
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and attendance record
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with the wider team
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow procedures, routes and schedules accurately




- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hands-on role
- Understanding that this is a hands-on waste collection and delivery position, rather than a driving-only role
