About CO-architecture
CO-architecture connects homeowners and businesses with architects, building designers and interior designers across Australia. Hundreds of architecture and design practices use CO-architecture to access project opportunities, promote their work and grow their businesses.
We’re now looking for someone to help us improve one of the most important parts of that experience: supporting clients from initial enquiry through to engaging the right professional.
You’ll work closely with our founders, product team and Client Manager, with real ownership over the client journey and a direct influence on how the platform evolves.
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and keeping things moving.
About the role
CO-architecture is looking for a Client Liaison to help manage the client journey from enquiry through to active engagement with professionals on the platform. Every month, clients come to us looking for architects, building designers and interior designers. Our role is to help them communicate their project brief, connect with suitable professionals and progress those conversations through the platform.
We’re looking for someone organised, confident on the phone and genuinely positive with people to help manage that process.
What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with our Client Manager and wider team to support homeowners and clients from initial enquiry through to active engagement with professionals on the platform. Your day-to-day will include:
- support clients throughout their project journey on CO-architecture
- help clients understand their options and next steps
- guide clients through responses from architecture and design practices
- help facilitate introductions between clients and suitable professionals
- provide timely follow-up and support throughout the process
- keep client information, project details and activity up to date
- answer questions and provide guidance as clients progress through the platform
- work closely with the Client Manager to deliver a high-quality client experience
- share recurring client feedback and insights with the wider team
- contribute ideas to improve the client journey and platform experience
A big part of the role is simple but important: helping clients feel supported, informed and confident about what to do next.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to be an architect, but you should be comfortable speaking with homeowners and professionals about design projects. You’ll likely be someone who:
- is confident speaking with clients over the phone and following up when needed
- communicates clearly, warmly and professionally
- is comfortable guiding people through a process and explaining next steps
- enjoys keeping things organised and moving
- takes ownership of client enquiries and follows things through
- can manage a large number of conversations without losing track of the detail
- is comfortable working with online platforms, CRMs and digital tools
- has good judgement and knows how to adapt your communication style to different clients
- can work independently while contributing to a small, fast-moving team
Experience in customer success, client services, account management, property, architecture, interior design, construction or a similar service business would be useful, but isn’t essential.
What success looks like
Success in this role is about delivering a high-quality experience for clients throughout their journey with CO-architecture.
We want to see
- clients feeling well supported from initial enquiry through to engaging a suitable professional
- clear and timely communication throughout the process
- strong coordination between clients and architecture and design practices
- consistent follow-up across active projects
- accurate and well-managed client and project information
- useful insights into client needs, questions and behaviour that can help improve the platform
You’ll also play an important role in helping us understand where personal support adds the most value, so we can continue improving the client experience and building better tools around it over time.
What we offer
- A full-time role based with our Perth team
- Direct involvement with the founders and product team
- The opportunity to take ownership of an important part of the customer journey
- Exposure to architecture, design and property projects across Australia
- A role where your feedback can directly influence how the product is developed
- A small team where you can see the impact of your work
If you enjoy talking to people, following things through and helping customers take the next step, we’d love to hear from you.
