Our Family Respite
Melbourne
Ever wished you could earn great money doing something genuinely meaningful, without sitting in traffic, staring at spreadsheets, or dealing with office politics?
Well, keep reading...
At Our Family Respite (OFR), we do disability respite differently.
We're a family-run, NDIS-registered provider that matches children, teenagers and adults living with disability with carefully selected respite carers who can provide a safe, welcoming home away from home.
Our model is built on relationships, not rosters.
We're growing rapidly across NSW and are looking for compassionate individuals, couples and families who would love to open their home and make a real difference in someone's life.
What Does the Role Involve?
As a Disability Respite Host Carer, you'll welcome participants into your home for short stays, weekend respite, school holiday programs and community-based experiences.
Some participants may simply enjoy movies, baking, gaming, swimming, trips to the park or hanging out with your family.
Others may enjoy outings, adventures and trying new things.
The role is less about 'caregiving' and more about being a supportive host, mentor and positive role model.
Most importantly, you'll be giving families a much-needed break while creating meaningful experiences for participants.
