The Role An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Nurse Consultant (Emergency Department Load Share Project) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Be responsible for assisting Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) with the ambulance distribution
Be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise at an advanced nursing practice level
Provide accurate data capture and iEMR notation relevant to the pre-diversion of patients to our private partners via QAS
Appropriately manage and escalate any concerns or complaints raised by health care consumers or external industry partners
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent full time and permanent part time (several positions, hours negotiable)
Base salary ranging from $140,632 - $152,685 per annum or $70.92 - $77.00 per hour
