About the role
Temporary part time opportutnity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support traumatic brain injury-related clinical research and clinical trial processes through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, skilled standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
Provide advice, education and support to patients and the families of patients involved in traumatic brain injury-related research to facilitate informed decision making.
