ROLE OVERVIEW n
AIRWAY is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join our Townsville Airport warehouse team. You'll join a small, close-knit team of 5 so this role is hands‐on and offers an environment where your impact is visible and collaboration is genuine. THE ROLE n
n
Safely load and unload freight in line with SOPs within strict timeframes
n
Safely operate forklift and tow motor
n
Follow OH&S; procedures
n
General warehouse duties including documentation, systems updates and housekeeping
n
HOURS OF WORK n
This role is a casual position and is expected to average ***** hours per week. Shift times will vary week to week as they are subject to airline schedules and operational requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE n
n
12+ months warehouse/forklift experience (preferred)
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Physically fit for lifting heavy loads
n
Safety-focused
n
Able to work to changing schedules
n
LICENCES n
n
LF Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)
n
Australian Driver's Licence & own transport
n
ASIC (must be eligible to obtain)
n
n
