We are a boutique law firm seeking a Senior Lawyer to join our team on a casual basis providing support on an ad-hoc basis across
Commercial Law
,
Commercial Litigation
and
Employment Law
matters.

This is a flexible prospect suited to an experienced lawyer who can assist the firm on a variety of matters as well as
business development
for a
growing private law firm
.
n
This flexible role suits an experienced legal practitioner with at least
5 years' post-admission experience (PQE)
who can manage legal work with a high degree of autonomy.
Key responsibilities n
n
Advise on commercial contracts, transactions and general commercial matters
n
Advise on employment contracts, policies and workplace issues
n
Manage and advise on building and property disputes
n
Manage and advise on commercial disputes, debt recovery and settlement documents
n
Conduct legal research, negotiations and client conferences
n
Contribute to business-development activities and practice-management processes
n
Manage your own files, deadlines, budgets and client communications
n
Assist with training and mentoring
n
About you n
n
Admission as an Australian lawyer and a current practising certificate,



or eligibility to obtain one in Victoria
n
At least 5 years' PQE
n
Demonstrated experience in commercial law, commercial litigation and employment law
n
Strong drafting, advisory, negotiation and matter-management skills
n
Sound commercial judgement and the ability to work independently
n
High professional and ethical standards
n
