Our client is an

with their Australian head office based in Dandenong South. A rare and highly attractive opportunity has become available for an experienced
Senior Financial Accountant
to join their team on a
full-time, permanent basis
. It is essential to be either CA or CPA qualified, as well as possessing
SAP
systems experience.

This is a genuine hybrid opportunity, offering the flexibility to work:

3 days in the office

2 days from home
n
n

Salary: $130,000 base + Super
n
nTHE ROLE: n
n
Part of a close-knit and high performing finance team, this position of Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
n
n
n
n
All aspects with month- and year-end preparation, including monthly and ad-hoc journals
n
n
Reporting and analysis, including analysis of all aspects of sales, COGS & operating expenses information
n
n
Conduct monthly account reconciliations, identify and rectify discrepancies, and ensure the integrity of financial data
n
n
Manage day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
n
n
Maintain the fixed asset register
n
n
Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and responses
n
n
Prepare annual statutory accounts
n
n
Financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
n
n
Any other tasks requested by management.
n

nQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: n
n
The successful applicant will have/be;
n
n
n
n
CPA or CA qualified
n
n
Degree qualified in Business/Commerce
n
n
SAP systems experience
n
Full Australian work rights
n
n
Advanced MS Excel skills
n
n
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirements
n
n
Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
n
n
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
n
Solid communication & interpersonal skills as well as taking pride in personal presentation.
n
