We are currently recruiting for a Collections Officer to join the Collections & Financial Assistance team of a leading financial services organisation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with collections, customer service or financial services experience who enjoys problem-solving, negotiation and working in a fast-paced environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities include
- Managing inbound and outbound calls and emails
- Managing a ledger of delinquent contracts, with a focus on curing arrears
- Providing a high level of customer service across all contact points
- Managing bankruptcy and liquidation matters and ensuring relevant processes are followed
- Maintaining accurate registers and documentation
- Supporting AFCA processes and ensuring actions are followed through
- Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving customer issues
About you
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in collections, credit, financial services or customer service
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage difficult conversations and resolve conflict professionally
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Robust attention to detail and administration skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of bankruptcy, liquidation or legal processes would be highly regarded.
