About the Role & Company:

A leading FMCG business is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their finance team for a long term contract in a pivotal commercially focused role. This position will play a key role in driving business performance through detailed sales analysis, strategic insights, forecasting, and business partnering across operations and leadership teams.

This opportunity will suit a commercially minded finance professional who thrives working with large datasets, enjoys influencing decision-making, and wants to operate as a true strategic partner to the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver detailed sales, margin, and profitability analysis across multiple business units and product lines

- Analyse large and complex datasets to provide actionable commercial insights and performance recommendations

- Partner closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership teams

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes





- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility and performance tracking

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business growth and operational efficiencies

- Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, systems, and processes

About You

- CA/CPA qualified

- Robust experience within commercial finance, FP&A;, or commercial analysis roles in an FMCG or consumer goods environment

- Advanced Excel and strong ERP/BI systems experience

- Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights

- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability

- Commercially astute with a proactive and analytical mindset

- Immediately Available or 1-2 weeks notice
