Property Lawyer
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on
- commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and disposals.
- Purchase and sale of a range of businesses
- Leasing of retail and commercial property
- Building and property issues
- Licencing and option deeds
- Financial and security documentation linked to property transactions
- Draft and negotiate
- Contracts for sale and purchase of a wide variety of land us types including commercial, development residential, rural and retail.
- sale of business agreements
- retail and commercial leasing arrangements.
- Manage
- house property development projects from structured initial land acquisitions through to off-the-plan project delivery.
- handling PEXA electronic settlements , and liaising with agents, banks, and other stakeholders
- Experience:
- 2-6 years Post-Admission Experience (PAE) specialising in property or real estate law within a reputable firm.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong foundation and capability in commercial and residential conveyancing, leasing, acquisitions.
- Attributes:
- Strong communication skills to build lasting relationships.
- timeliness and professionalism;
- have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
- demonstrate clear, practical commercial awareness, particularly for private clients, family businesses and family wealth structures;
- have a genuine desire to develop mastery in law;
- enjoy contributing to a supportive team;
- be comfortable using legal technology and collaborative tools; and
- have an interest in developing professional relationships and participating in practice-building activities.
