Commercial Finance Manager / $210,000 - $220,000 / Perth / Mining Resources / Progression / Development An established business operating within the resources sector is seeking an experienced finance and commercial professional to lead reporting, planning and performance improvement across its operations.

The Commercial Finance

Manager will work closely with operational leaders and senior management, provide practical financial advice, strengthen commercial governance and lead a capable team. This is a outstanding opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys working closely with operations and influencing business performance.

The Commercial Finance Manager's key duties

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
- Oversee month-end processes and deliver clear analysis of costs, margins and business performance.
- Partner with operational teams to identify savings and improve financial outcomes.
- Develop financial models and evaluate capital investment proposals.




- Review contract performance and support commercial negotiations and the resolution of contractual issues.
- Prepare reports, presentations and commercial correspondence.
- Maintain effective financial controls and support compliance and audit requirements.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the finance and commercial team.

About you

- CA or CPA qualified, with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experienced in operational finance or commercial management within mining, resources or a related industry.
- Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost management.
- Confident interpreting contracts and supporting commercial negotiations.
- An effective communicator who translates complex information into practical recommendations.
- A proactive leader with sound judgement and a focus on continuous improvement.
