About the role An opportunity has arisen for a 1 - 4 PQE property lawyer to join a well-established commercial property practice in Canberra. The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial property transactions and development matters, working alongside experienced practitioners and advising a varied client base including developers, investors, property owners and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Property development and mixed-use projects
- Commercial, retail and industrial leasing
- Due diligence and transaction structuring
- Development and subdivision matters
- Property portfolio and asset management
- Negotiating and documenting complex property transactions
- Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of property assets
About you
- 1 - 4 years' post-admission experience in property
- Experience across commercial property, leasing, development or related areas
- Strong drafting, research and negotiation skills
- A commercial and practical approach to legal advice
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An interest in developing a long-term career in commercial property
