About Orange Sky

Orange Sky exists to support our friends in Australia and Aotearoa who are facing challenges in their lives, including homelessness, financial hardship, limited access to laundry facilities or temporary displacement due to a natural disaster. We are committed to being there when it’s needed most, offering free laundry services, warm showers and friendly chats with our volunteers.

Our Marketing

Team brings this mission to life by sharing powerful stories, building awareness, and inviting others to be part of the journey. Through creativity and connection, they help grow our community of supporters and ensure our mission to positively connect communities continues to shine.

The Role

This position is perfect for an enthusiastic, purpose driven communicator looking to make a genuine impact. This full-time, permanent role reports to our Marketing and Communications Specialist and is dedicated to supporting, informing, and inspiring our community across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. In a dynamic role where clear, strategic messaging is key, your primary focus will be crafting and delivering engagement tactics for our most vital audiences; volunteers, friends and service partners.

You will bring Orange Sky’s mission and brand tone of voice to life, turning updates, operational news and major campaigns into meaningful connections with some of our most important community members.

This role will

Bring campaigns to life

You’ll immerse yourself in Orange Sky’s brand and tone of voice to craft impactful messaging for major projects, service launches, and key awareness events. Your adaptable style and stakeholder management will turn strategy into well executed and impactful campaigns.

Support systems, brand, and reporting

Navigating communication platforms (like Campaign Monitor) will be second nature as you manage data, uphold best practice, and deliver insightful reporting. You’ll champion brand integrity, assist with process improvements, and provide essential admin support to keep operations running smoothly.
