You'll help customers over the phone with a wide range of government enquiries, then train up to handle road safety and fines calls.The details6-month contract, 28 October **** to 28 April ****$***** per hour + super35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no weekendsRotating roster between 7am and 7pm (early, mid and late shifts, rotating every two weeks)Based in Gosford CBD12 weeks of paid training on site: 2 weeks in the classroom, then supported "nesting" alongside experienced staffHybrid work may be possible after training, subject to assessment, with a minimum of 2 days a week on siteWhat you'll doAnswer inbound calls and help customers with government transactions and enquiriesExplain information clearly and accurately,



including on road safety and finesHandle difficult or upset customers calmly and professionallyKeep accurate records and follow set processesWork to team KPIs in a busy contact centreAbout you2 to 3 years of customer service experience in a call centre, administration or retail roleExcellent spoken and written communicationExperience working in an office environmentConfident with computers: fast, accurate typing and good email etiquette, and comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and TeamsQuick to learn recent systemsGovernment experience is a plus but not essentialPlease noteYou must live in NSW and within easy travel of GosfordYou must be available to attend training on site every day for the first 12 weeksLeave isn't available over the Christmas and New Year periodShortlisted candidates will attend a 90-minute in-person assessment centre in Gosford on Monday 12 October
