Christadelphian Aged Care – Gladesville NSWWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant in Nursing (Casual) to join the care team at Christadelphian Aged Care in Gladesville, NSW.
This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful difference in the lives of our aged care residents.
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide essential support to our nursing and care staff, working in a collaborative environment that values person-centred care and dignity for all residents.
This role is integral to ensuring our residents receive high-quality support with their daily living needs and maintaining a safe, comfortable care environment.Key responsibilitiesAssisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing and toiletingSupporting nursing staff with clinical care tasks under their direction and supervisionMonitoring and reporting changes in residents' conditions, health concerns or behaviours to nursing staffMaintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents across all care areasAssisting with feeding and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration for residentsSupporting residents with mobility, transferring and positioning using appropriate techniques and equipmentProviding emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering positive relationshipsMaintaining accurate and timely records as required by the facilityFollowing health and safety protocols, infection control procedures and relevant aged care regulationsCollaborating with the wider care team to ensure coordinated,
