The Trustee for SS TAGORE FAMILY TRUST We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join the team at 63 Highton. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, following recipes and menu requirements, maintaining food quality and presentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The role also involves stock management, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, minimising food wastage, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure productive daily operations.

Professional workplace: Work in a clean, organised kitchen with clear food safety and hygiene standards. Task &

responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipes. Ensure food quality, taste, portion sizes and presentation meet required standards. Prepare ingredients, including cutting, marinating, seasoning and portioning.

Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results. Maintain food safety,



hygiene and sanitation standards at all times. Check food stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.

Store ingredients correctly and maintain proper stock rotation. Minimise food wastage and control portion costs. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures. Assist with menu preparation and introduce new dishes where required. Qualification &

experience 1–2 years of cooking experience in Indian or fast-casual kitchens Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in high-volume service Familiarity with safe food handling and kitchen hygiene standards AQF Certificate III and IV (Commercial Cookery) desirable, but equivalent experience valued About Company 63 Highton is a hospitality business committed to providing customers with quality food, welcoming service and a positive dining experience.
