? Cooks - Bring your love of food to life!

We are seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious, healthy and delicious meals and snacks for the children at our early childhood education and care centre. If you love cooking for your family and friends, enjoy creating delicious meals and take pride in a clean and organised kitchen, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your responsibilities will include

- Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
- Ordering groceries and managing kitchen supplies
- Contributing to menu planning in consultation with the team
- Maintaining food safety practices and records
- Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and hygienic
- Creating meals that children enjoy!

Don't have experience with early childhood food safety requirements? That's okay! We can support you to learn our processes and requirements. We’re particularly interested in people who have experience in a home or commercial kitchen, but we’re also happy to hear from enthusiastic cooks who are ready to learn.

As a trainee, you’ll learn alongside experienced educators while gaining practical experience working with children and completing your early childhood qualification.

- Supporting children's wellbeing, safety and development
- Understanding the Early Years Learning Framework
