We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands‑on Branch Service Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Victorian branch. This is a hybrid leadership role, split between office‑based branch leadership and hands‑on field work. The role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive professional who can manage people, workflow, customer expectations and operational performance in a fast‑paced service workplace.
Operational Leadership
The successful candidate will oversee workshop and field service operations, technician scheduling, service administration, customer support, spare parts coordination, machine preparation and overall branch workflow. You will work closely with an experienced national management team and have direct access to solid factory‑backed technical and operational support.

This role will support the continued growth of our Victorian operations by improving service performance, strengthening customer relationships, supporting customer retention and identifying opportunities to expand the branch and service business throughout Victoria.
You will help maintain our strong reputation for customer service, technical support, first‑time fix outcomes, targeted response times and high customer satisfaction. In this 50/50 hybrid role, you will balance your time equally between leading the team from the office and working on site, actively stepping into the field to support technicians and engage directly with customers when required.

Lead daily operations across the Victorian service branch
Manage field, workshop, and service administration teams
Oversee service scheduling, allocation, completion, invoicing, workflow, and WIP targets
Drive productivity, accountability, operational efficiency, and high standards of workmanship

Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to technicians
Support response‑time targets, customer service outcomes, and clear communication
Monitor workshop productivity, spare parts coordination, and stock levels
Uphold WHS procedures, policies, and safe work practices
Identify opportunities for branch growth, service revenue, and customer expansion
Requirements
Leadership Experience
Experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar
Ability to lead and motivate technical service teams
Strong planning, organisation, and time‑management skills
Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
Technical Skills
Strong mechanical and diagnostic capability
Experience with hydraulic and electrical fault finding and repairs
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
Forklift, automotive, heavy equipment, agricultural, transport, or materials‑handling industry experience will be highly regarded
Trade qualification preferred but not essential, depending on experience
Safety and Compliance
Strong understanding of WHS obligations and compliance requirements
