The Institute of Culinary Excellence is looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Culinary Trainer and Assessor.

About the role

As a Culinary Trainer and Assessor, you’ll work with students to develop the practical skills, confidence and professional standards they need to succeed in the hospitality industry. You’ll bring real-world kitchen experience into the training environment, delivering engaging, relevant and supportive learning experiences while maintaining the high standards ICE is known for.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or an equivalent recognised cookery qualification
- Holds a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higher or successor qualification
- Has current and relevant commercial cookery experience
- Communicates clearly and works well with students from diverse backgrounds




- Is organised, reliable and committed to quality training and assessment
- Is open to new opportunities and continued professional development
- Ability to deliver training in our new barista program is desirable

Previous training experience would be valued, but just as importantly, we’re looking for someone with robust industry knowledge, a genuine desire to teach and a commitment to excellence.
