Are you an experienced customer service or administration professional looking for your next long-term career opportunity? We're partnering with a well-established Australian business to recruit a Customer Administration Officer to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager , this role has been created as part of a long-term succession planning strategy and offers an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career within a growing and respected organisation.

This position would particularly suit candidates with experience in automotive parts, aftermarket products, trade wholesale, industrial supplies, workshop equipment, heavy vehicle, fleet or technical distribution environments . Candidates who have worked for automotive parts suppliers, industrial distributors, workshop equipment providers or similar product-based businesses will be highly regarded, as will those accustomed to supporting trade customers and managing product-related enquiries.

The Opportunity Working within a close-knit customer service team, you'll become a key point of contact for customers, supporting enquiries, order management and administrative activities that contribute to a seamless customer experience.

As part of your onboarding, you'll undertake a comprehensive training program designed to provide hands-on exposure to the company's product range,



operations and customer base. This will allow you to develop a strong understanding of the products and solutions offered, helping you confidently support customers and stakeholders from day one.

A current driver's licence is highly advantageous , as the initial training period will involve exposure across different areas of the business to gain a thorough understanding of the company's product offering, operations and customer requirements.

You'll gain valuable industry knowledge while becoming an important part of the organisation's future growth and succession plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
- Providing professional customer support and product information
- Coordinating with warehouse and operations teams regarding orders and deliveries
- Maintaining accurate customer and order records
- Assisting with administration associated with customer orders and accounts
- Resolving customer enquiries and service-related issues
- Supporting the wider customer service and sales teams as required
- Assisting with process improvements and general administrative duties

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Ideally, you'll have:





- Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales support or order processing
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence managing multiple priorities
- Strong computer literacy and experience using business systems
- A current driver's licence (highly advantageous)

Experience within automotive parts, aftermarket products, industrial supplies, trade wholesale/distribution, workshop equipment, heavy vehicle, fleet services or other technical product-based industries will be highly regarded, though not essential.
