Are you passionate about storytelling, learning and connecting with your community? Brisbane City Council's Corporate Traineeship program is offering a Certificate III in Customer Engagement to help you build a career in libraries, customer service and community-focused environments.
This traineeship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Brisbane City Council libraries while developing the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service and community engagement outcomes.

- Passionate about libraries, learning and supporting the community.
- Reliable,
motivated and open to learning recent skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, or a willingness to develop them.
- Committed to completing training modules throughout the year.
- Able to travel across Brisbane (some library locations may not be serviced by public transport).
Location: Opportunities are available across a number of Brisbane City Council library locations, including Brisbane Square Library (Brisbane City) and Toowong Library . Successful applicants will be advised of their placement location during the recruitment process and provided with support throughout their traineeship. After completing the traineeship, you'll have:
- A nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Customer Engagement).
- Practical customer service and community engagement experience.
- Valuable experience working within a public library environment.
- The skills and confidence to apply for roles within Council or beyond.
