About the Position This position is pivotal to the organisation's customer service culture. Responsible for the effective delivery of the highest quality customer service, the Customer Service Coordinator has the overall responsibility for coordinating both people and information resources within the Customer Service Team.
The Customer Service Coordinator is the customer service specialist, driving service improvement across the organisation, and is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer systems.
The Customer Service Coordinator will be required to model and continuously demonstrate the City's corporate values as well as a high-level commitment to customer service and service delivery excellence. This includes mentoring, developing and nurturing excellence within the Customer Service Team and across the organisation The Customer Service Coordinator plays a leadership role in supporting, promoting, and enhancing the City's service delivery models including the TechnologyOne, Request Management CRM and knowledge base and has a high level of business analytic skills and experience for system improvement.
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:
- Diploma in Management or relevant experience in a leadership position.
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Good negotiation/ conflict resolution skills with high level of problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Proven time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop a customer service team.
- Highly developed knowledge of computer applications, particularly Microsoft.
- Robust understanding of customer service systems, including request management, knowledge and telephony.
- Proven experience as a people leader in a change environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement of business systems in a customer service environment.
- Current National Police Clearance.
