About Silvercrete Precast

Silvercrete Precast is a South Australian family-owned manufacturer of precast concrete products, based in Burton. We supply concrete sleepers, under-fence plinths, pavers, and custom precast products to residential, commercial, civil, and rural customers across South Australia and beyond.

We are looking for a reliable Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for our customers and to keep orders, quotes, and deliveries moving.

About the role

You will handle incoming calls and emails, take and process orders, prepare quotes, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and keep customers updated. You will work closely with production, dispatch, and management so what is promised to the customer is what gets made and delivered.

This is a hands-on office role in a busy manufacturing business. No two days are the same, and clear communication with both customers and the factory floor matters.

Key responsibilities

- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Take customer orders for sleepers, plinths, pavers, and custom products
- Prepare quotes and follow up outstanding enquiries
- Enter and maintain orders in the system accurately
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and site requirements with dispatch and production




- Resolve customer queries on product, colour, lead times, and delivery
- Keep customer records and paperwork up to date
- Support accounts with basic order and invoice queries as required

What we’re looking for

- Previous customer service, sales support, or order-processing experience
- Confident phone manner and clear written communication
- Strong attention to detail with orders, quantities, and dates
- Ability to stay calm and organised when it is busy
- Comfortable using computers, email, and order or accounting systems
- Experience in building products, manufacturing, logistics, or trades is an advantage, but not essential
- Current driver’s licence preferred

What we offer

- $60,000 – $65,000 per year, depending on experience
- Reliable Monday to Friday hours, 7:30am – 4:00pm
- On-site role at our Burton factory and display centre
