This is a part-time or full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining and servicing security systems across our operations.
As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of security equipment and systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and protection for our clients and facilities.
This position is essential to our commitment to delivering reliable security solutions and supporting the smooth operation of our services.Key responsibilitiesInstall, inspect, and maintain security systems including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and related equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance on security systems to ensure optimal performance and longevityTroubleshoot and diagnose faults in security equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutionsRepair or replace faulty components and systems, adhering to safety standards and best practicesConduct system testing and certification upon completion of installation or repair workDocument all work performed, including maintenance records, repair logs, and system configurationsRespond to service calls and emergency requests from clients in a timely mannerLiaise with clients to understand their security needs and provide technical advice and recommendationsMaintain compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policiesKeep up to date with advancements in security technology and industry best practicesWhat we're looking forA recognised qualification or certification in security systems technology, electronics, or a related fieldProven experience working as a Security Technician or in a similar technical role within the security industryStrong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, access control,
