Our client is a leading distributor of gaming, toys and pop culture merchandise, based in Riverwood, and is currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Receiving Team Member to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and getting the job done efficiently.The RoleAs a Warehouse Receiving Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming stock is received, checked and processed accurately.
Key responsibilities include:Receive and safely unload deliveries from freight carriersCheck incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery documentationIdentify and report shortages, damages and incorrect deliveriesProcess received stock using warehouse management systemsUse handheld scanners and computer systems to record stock movementsPrioritise incoming deliveries according to operational requirementsSplit, label and prepare stock for put-awayAssist with inventory control and stock accuracyMaintain a clean,



organised and safe warehouseSafely use warehouse equipment including trolleys and pallet jacksOperate wave pickers where trained and authorisedWork collaboratively with the wider warehouse teamAssist with general warehouse duties as requiredAbout YouTo be successful, you will ideally have:At least 12 months' warehouse experienceA current Police CheckExperience using computers, warehouse systems and handheld scannersStrong attention to detail and accuracyA methodical and organised approachThe ability to follow processes and proceduresGood physical fitness and the ability to work in a warehouse environmentThe ability to speak and read EnglishA positive, reliable and team-focused attitudeA willingness to assist across the warehouse when requiredWilling to undergo a fitness for work Medical / Drug & Alcohol testPay & Hours$***** per hour9:00 AM – 5:00 PMMonday to FridayOccasional weekend work during peak periodsWhy Join?
