About the Role
As a Demi Chef, you'll take ownership of your section while helping deliver quality dining experiences across K'gari Beach Resort.
You'll prepare and present dishes to a high standard, support kitchen service and contribute to a smooth and efficient operation. This is a great chance for a chef looking to build leadership skills and further develop their career in a unique island environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and cook meals to resort standards
- Maintain food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Support food quality, presentation and service delivery
- Assist with stock control and kitchen preparation
- Work collaboratively with the wider culinary team
About You
You are passionate about food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering quality dishes every service.
You'll bring
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Demi Chef or similar role
- Experience in a high-volume resort, hotel or commercial kitchen
- Food Safety certification (RSA desirable)
- Strong organisation, communication and time management skills
