Key responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, suction, and other necessary equipment
- Ensuring the dental operatory is properly stocked and sterilised before and after each patient
- Greeting and welcoming patients, escorting them to the treatment area, and providing excellent customer service
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records and charts
- Performing basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming study models
- Demonstrating and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Carrying out other administrative and clerical duties as required
About you
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but trainee considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology
- A genuine interest in the dental field and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
