THE ROLE

As Design Assistant, you'll be the person who gets each womenswear collection off the ground. Working side by side with an experienced senior designer, you'll shape the groundwork every new range is built on, with fresh product landing regularly and plenty of momentum. You'll learn from talented designers, see your work turn into product, and build the foundation for a long-term career in fashion design.

Day-to-Day

- Bring ideas to life through polished flats and CADs in Illustrator
- Build accurate, detailed tech packs in Excel
- Take charge of sample flow, keeping every piece tracked, organised and moving
- Keep the design process running smoothly by managing the admin that makes great collections happen




- Partner with the product development team on handovers and queries
- Back the wider womenswear team as each collection progresses

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 1-2 years' experience in fashion or apparel design, with CAD skills you're proud of
- Advanced Illustrator skills and confidence with Excel and tech packs
- A fashion design qualification
- Razor-sharp attention to detail and an organised approach to everything you do
- An eye for clean, considered, wearable design
- A positive attitude and you see the value in getting the fundamentals right
- Drive, energy and a genuine hunger to learn
- A friendly, collaborative style that helps you build robust working relationships quickly
- All apparel backgrounds are welcome

SALARY $60,000 to $65,000 base salary (depending on experience) + Super
