Permanent full-time opportunity for a Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetics team at Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook, delivering patient-centred care across paediatric and adult acute, sub-acute and ambulatory services.

About This Role

Your new role

As a Dietitian With Logan-Beaudesert Health Service, You'll Provide Evidence-based Nutrition Care While Working As Part Of a Cooperative Multidisciplinary Team. You Will

- Deliver nutrition assessment, education, intervention and management across paediatric and adult services.
- Manage an allocated clinical caseload, prioritising patient needs and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and other health professionals to achieve patient-centred outcomes.
- Contribute to clinical education, including supporting students and allied health assistants.
- Participate in quality improvement, service development and research activities.
- Apply your clinical judgement and continue developing your practice with support from experienced senior clinicians.

About You We're looking for a Dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care and enjoys working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. You will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credentialing/membership with the relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic assessment and management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
- Effective time management,



prioritisation and clinical documentation skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- An interest or experience in paediatrics is highly desirable.
- The ability to contribute to clinical education and support the development of students and less experienced staff.

Logan Hospital Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
