Honour Care is seeking a reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker to assist an independent NDIS participant living in Fitzgibbon, North Brisbane.

This is a relatively straightforward community access role, primarily involving transport and accompanying the participant to his regular horse-related activity.

We would particularly welcome applications from mature, patient and reliable individuals who live locally and are looking for consistent part-time casual hours.

Both male and female applicants are welcome.

Working Hours

- Monday, fortnightly.
- Start time: Approximately 1:30 pm.
- Shift duration: Approximately 2–2.5 hours.
- Potential to increase to every Monday in the future.
- Additional shifts may become available depending on participant needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe transport to and from the participant's scheduled activity.
- Remain available nearby during the session (waiting outside).
- Support the participant's independence and community participation.




- Maintain professional communication and complete basic shift notes.

Requirements
- Previous experience in disability support preferred.
- Current driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates preferred.
- Good communication skills, patience and reliability.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and respect participant independence.
