About the role

As a Disability Support Worker with EnableU Health Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities across Dural NSW 2158 and Cherrybrook NSW 2126. This is a casual position offering flexibility to work around your schedule. Your primary focus will be to provide compassionate and tailored care that empowers our clients to maintain their independence and engage with their community.

Job Types: Casual (with potential to progress to Part-time), Contractor

Expected hours: Varies based on availability and allocated shifts

Shift Details: Various ongoing weekday and weekend shifts are available across Dural and Cherrybrook, with opportunities for additional shifts based on participant needs and worker availability.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Personal care: showering, dressing and grooming
- Social support and transportation for community activities, shopping and appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Community access and social participation
- Providing updates on participants' progress following each service
- Learning & Life Skills Support: assisting participants to develop everyday skills and increase their independence

What we're looking for:

1. Female Support Workers who are reliable, engaging and committed to person-centred care.
2. A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
3. Strong English communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in a professional care workplace.
4. Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the disability or aged care sector.
5. Minimum 6 months’ experience in disability or aged care support roles is preferred.
6. A genuine interest in building positive professional relationships with participants and supporting their individual needs and independence.

Availability to work ongoing shifts within the Dural and/or Cherrybrook area.

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (Required)
- Police Check (Preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred/Willing to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR Certificates (Preferred/Willing to obtain)

Flexible Scheduling Once successful, you will be added to our pool of staff in the local area. You will be notified of available shifts close to your area, allowing you to choose those that best fit your schedule.
