MASTZ Community Care is a small owner operated disability support business seeking compassionate, reliable support workers to join our team.
We are open to taking on casual positions with the intention of progressing to permanent employment.
Pay is at SCHADS Award rates, according to the applicable classification or Subcontractors (Rates negotiable dependent on experience).
About us
Our owner brings 15 years of lived experience and six years of professional experience in disability support, including extensive complex care experience.We value respectful, individualised support that upholds each participant’s dignity, choices and independence. We’re looking for someone who shares these values and takes pride in making a positive difference in people’s everyday lives.
About the role
You will support participants across North Brisbane with:
- Assistance with daily living and personal care.
- Companionship and social support.
- Community access and participation.
- Light household tasks and cleaning.
- Meal preparation.
About you You are patient, dependable and empathetic,
with strong communication skills and respect for each person’s preferences and needs. You can work independently, stay calm when challenges arise, and communicate effectively with participants, families and colleagues. Previous disability support experience is valued, and complex care experience is welcomed.
We’re also willing to train the right person who brings a caring attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to quality support.
