About You:

A genuine desire to offer the highest quality assistance for persons with disabilities, as well as the capacity to create good connections with clients and other stakeholders, is required.

Support Schedule:

Monday (4 PM - 9 PM), Tuesday & Thursday (8:15 AM to 5 PM) and Wednesday (4 PM - 8:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care
- Manual handling including hoist transfers – manual, electric / assisted standing
- PEG feeding management (Nutrison Multifibre feeding plan)
- Medication assistance via PEG
- Respiratory support (suctioning, nebuliser, BiPAP overnight)
- Continence care (pads, hygiene, bowel management)
- Skin integrity & pressure care monitoring
- Oral sensorimotor therapy (Z-Vibe program)
- Assist with meal preparation
- Willingness to work with individuals with complex behaviours of concern
- Maintaining records of client progress

Requirements:





- Experienced in PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support
- Ideally from a nursing, medical, allied health, or other clinical background
- Confident following clinical instructions, care plans, and established procedures
- Comfortable supporting complex or higher-care needs
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Experience with complex behavioral situations
- The ability to support participants to achieve social and self-care goals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent experience)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence, Car and insurance
