supporting and training our retail teamPreparing staff rosters and managing changes when someone is away or plans changeMaking sure we have the right staff coverage across our retail spacesCreating a welcoming and inclusive space for our customers and teamKeeping the store running smoothly and making sure daily goals are metConnecting with customers and sharing the purpose, stories and values behind Clothing The Gaps and our productsLooking after stock, merchandising and point-of-sale processesSupporting the recruitment, onboarding and training of new retail team membersManaging timesheets and other day-to-day team administrationWorking closely with our Warehouse, Customer Service and Brand and Marketing teamsHelping keep our retail spaces secure, organised and welcomingCoordinating markets, pop-ups and other retail opportunities from time to timeAbout YouWe're looking for someone who knows retail, is great with people and is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our store.You might already be a Store Manager, or you might be an experienced retail team member or supervisor who's ready to take the next step.
What matters most is that you have strong retail experience, enjoy leading and supporting people, and feel confident keeping a busy retail space organised and running smoothly.You'll bring:Experience working in a customer-focused retail environmentA good understanding of how a retail store operates day to dayStrong communication and people skillsConfidence organising priorities, solving problems and getting things doneThe ability to work independently and make day-to-day decisionsA full Australian driver's licenceA genuine connection with Clothing The Gaps' purpose and valuesThe HoursThis is a part-time role with a regular five-day working week:Tuesday to Friday: 9.30 am to 5.15 pmSaturday: 9.30 am to 4.15 pmSunday and Monday will be your regular days off, giving you a consistent working pattern each week.The National Indigenous Times acknowledges and pays respect to past and present Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation.
