As a Disability Respite Host Carer, you'll welcome participants into your home for short stays, weekend respite,



school holiday programs and community-based experiences.Some participants may simply enjoy movies, baking, gaming, swimming, trips to the park or hanging out with your family.

empathy and a great sense of humourBasic technology skillsNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)Important Household RequirementsBecause participants will be spending time in your home, we assess the entire household during the recruitment process.Every adult (18+) living in the home must be willing to participate in the screening processEvery adult (18+) living in the home must obtain a Police CheckEvery adult (18+) living in the home must obtain a Working With Children Check (WWCC)Every adult (18+) living in the home will be interviewed as part of our approval processThe home must be protected, welcoming and suitable for respite staysThis isn't because we like paperwork (trust us, we don't).
