Ainoya Japanese Restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Waiter to join our hospitality team in Kirribilli NSW ****.
This is a part-time position offering flexible hours to suit your availability.
As a Waitress/Waiter, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional service to our guests whilst ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality and authentic Japanese cuisine service.What you'll be doingGreeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them according to restaurant proceduresTaking accurate food and beverage orders from customers and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teamsProviding knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specialities and beverages, particularly our Japanese offeringsServing food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring correct items are delivered to the right guestsClearing tables efficiently and maintaining a clean, organised dining environment throughout serviceProcessing payments and managing transactions at the till, including handling cash and card paymentsResponding to guest queries and complaints with professionalism and tact, escalating issues to management when necessaryCollaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periodsMaintaining high standards of personal presentation and hygiene at all timesFollowing health and safety regulations and restaurant policies consistentlyWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working as a Waitress/Waiter in a restaurant or hospitality venue,
