Casual position | Parkville locationWork life balance - variety of shift times, flexible hours.Career progression opportunities.About the RoleThe role of the Clinical Assistant is to provide support services to clinical staff in the wards and departments of The Royal Melbourne Hospital.As a Clinical Assistant you are a vital member of the multi-disciplinary health care team who strive to provide excellent care to patients and their families.
Your interactions with patients, relatives and colleagues are guided by the organisation's vision and The Melbourne Way.Key AccountabilitiesTransportation services (patients, equipment, pathology, blood products, food, clinical records, stores, mortuary transfers)Demonstrate knowledge and skills utilising the "No Lift" policy, in accordance with hospital proceduresProvide assistance with patient hygiene and other patient related servicesCleaning of bed space and relevant patient equipment (including procedural chairs in day areas) and entry into Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) systemRemoval and disposal of rubbish & recyclables, linen, general wastePerform emergency response functions,
