The Metropole team is growing and we're seeking an experienced Duty Manager/Gaming Lead to oversee gaming operations and drive commercial performance within a high-volume hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

As the lead Gaming Manager, you will take ownership of gaming operations within venue; working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, excellent guest experiences and consistently high compliance standards.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will lead from the front and set high standards, ensuring the smooth operation of the venue. Your primary focus will be to maximise gaming room performance through revenue growth, increased patron visitation and retention and outstanding customer engagement. You will inspire and develop your team to deliver exceptional service; creating a welcoming setting that encourages repeat visitation and long-term patron loyalty.

What We're Looking For To succeed in this role you will be a passionate hospitality professional who understands what being hands-on means. Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member is essential including:

- Solid commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs (essential)





- Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements (essential)

- Experience managing a large and diverse team

- Experience working in a high-volume environment

- Exceptional product knowledge and ability to drive consistency and excellence

- Business and operational acumen

- Skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships

- RSA and RSG certifications (essential)

- RMLV and Approved Manager credentials (preferred, but not essential)
