As a Duty Technician, you'll enjoy a market-competitive salary, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through weekend and Public Holiday penalty rates, earning between $72,741 and $87,311 per annum. This full-time role operates across an 8-day fortnight, with shifts generally scheduled between 7:00am to 5:00pm or 11:00am to 9:00pm. Regular weekend work is expected, providing excellent earning potential while supporting the operation of one of Australia's leading luxury resorts.

Key Responsibilities

Additionally, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our resort remains safe, functional, and exceptional for both guests and associates. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to apply your technical skills across a diverse range of maintenance tasks, including:

- Carrying out general maintenance and repair work, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing wall surfaces,



and addressing everyday wear and tear throughout the resort.

- Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and longevity.

- Proactively identifying and rectifying maintenance concerns before they impact the guest experience.

- Working collaboratively with the Engineering team to maintain the highest standards of presentation, safety, and operational excellence.

- Following all company policies and procedures relating to safety, security, and compliance, while actively contributing to a safe working environment for all.

- Reporting maintenance issues, potential hazards, incidents, and injuries promptly, and participating in ongoing training and certification programs.

- Responding to and resolving minor plumbing issues, including blocked drains, toilet repairs, and maintenance of taps and fixtures.

Successful Candidates will have:

- Operates clean and orderly work area to be free from hazards

- Possess a passion for high-quality workmanship
- To be reliable, punctual and present well
- The enthusiasm to be hands on and have a guest service orientated attitude at all times

- Experience with various trades / skills such as refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc. is favorable
