The Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) is responsible for leading the 3-year-old preschool program in accordance with the approved learning framework, legislation, and service philosophy. They are also responsible for supporting and implementing programming and planning across the service as needed. The role ensures high-quality, evidence-based educational programming, mentoring of educators and trainees, and compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

The ECT works directly on the floor leading the program, mentoring staff, engaging families, and contributing strategically to continuous improvement and achievement of the National Quality Standard.

Pay: $39.83 – $55.11 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 38.0 per week
