Flex Recruit is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Technician for a FIFO assignment on a 2:1 roster, with work scheduled through to Christmas.
This opportunity suits a trade-qualified electrical professional with strong commissioning experience and a practical approach to fault finding, testing and protected energisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Completing electrical testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Carrying out functional checks and verifying equipment operation
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Identifying defects and supporting their resolution
- Completing commissioning records and handover documentation
- Working with the site team to meet commissioning milestones and safety requirements
What we’re looking for
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications and a current WA Electrical Licence
- Proven electrical commissioning experience in mining or heavy industry
- Strong testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation skills
- BHP inductions preferred
- Current driver’s licence and relevant site tickets
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Availability for a 2:1 roster through to Christmas
- Australian working rights
