Role Description This full-time, on-site Electronic Technician role at Tamirapp is based in Gold Coast, QLD.
The Electronic
Technician will assemble, test, and repair electronic equipment and components according to technical specifications and schematics. Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, performing soldering and rework, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role involves using test instruments to verify performance, documenting findings and repairs, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
The technician will also maintain an organized workspace, manage spare parts and tools, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and Electricity,
with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficient in Soldering and component-level work, including through-hole and surface-mount techniques.
- Skilled in Troubleshooting electronic systems and identifying root causes of faults.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electronic devices, equipment, and related hardware.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate in electronics or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with electronic test instruments (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
- Awareness of workplace health and safety practices and applicable standards.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a team setting.
