You will work across projects throughout Hervey Bay and the wider Fraser Coast region delivering commercial construction, residential and project work. You will be responsible for a range of electrical installations and maintenance tasks, working with both supervisors and clients to ensure quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Commercial and residential electrical installations
- Rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboards and mains
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Testing, fault-finding and commissioning
- Completing required safety and project documentation
- Supervising and supporting apprentices when required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and presentation
- Communicating professionally with supervisors, builders, clients and other trades
- Occasional regional travel or working away where required
About you
- A current Electrical Licence
- A current Construction White Card
- A current driver's licence
- Experience across commercial construction or residential projects
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A reliable, safety-focused and professional approach
- The ability to read plans and complete work with minimal supervision
